Literārā pastaiga “Billes Rīga”

We invite you to join us for a literary walk through Bille’s Rīga. On this walk, we will travel in time to the Grīziņkalns district in the 1930s, and compare our own childhoods with the childhood of a working man’s daughter, Bille – a fictional character created by Vizma Belševica.

The meeting point for participants will be by the monument to the revolutionaries of 1905 in Grīziņkalns Park. We kindly ask you to arrive no later than fifteen minutes prior to the start of the event. Duration of the walk – approximately 2 hours.

Participation fee – 3 euros. You may purchase your ticket prior to the event at the reading room of the Museum of Literature and Music at its temporary location on Tērbatas iela 75 (opening hours 9.00-16.30). (Please save the receipt – it will be your ticket for the event.) You can also pay your participation fee at the event and collect your receipt later.

The number of participants is limited (up to 20). Please make your reservations via email prior to the event by writing to gundega.graudina@rmm.lv.

Groups (of up to 20 participants) can book a walk on a date of their choice by emailing to gundega.graudina@rmm.lv Total price – 60 euros.
